Dr. Philip Edgcumbe (BASc, MD, PhD)
Dr. Philip Edgcumbe is a UBC radiology resident, biomedical engineer, clinician-scientist, and entrepreneur with a mission to create healthcare abundance and deep medicine. He co-founded and serves on the board of Collective Open Source Medical Innovations for COVID19 (COSMIC), which aims to increase access to medical innovations. He conducts academic research on the use of augmented reality for surgical navigation in neuro-interventional radiology and plastic surgery procedures, which contributes to deep medicine. As a Singularity University faculty member, he shares his perspectives on disruptive technology and the future of healthcare. Philip has received multiple awards, including the "Outstanding Young Scientist" award at the 2014 Medical Image Computing and Computer-Assisted Intervention Conference (MICCAI), and recognition for his leadership and innovation.

Dr. Harmehr Sekohn (MSc, PhD)
Dr. Harmehr Sekhon is a postdoctoral research fellow at McGill University and McLean Hospital. She specializes in geriatrics, focusing on cognition, gait, mental health, and cardiovascular disease risk factors. She is the Director of the GeriPARTy Research Lab and an expert in intervention trials using digital technology for older adults with mental health conditions and dementia. She has received prestigious awards and is involved in community roles such as a Senator and Judge at McGill University.
